One thing that has to be said for the crafting community, is that everyone rallies around and helps out whenever and wherever they can. That is the case for today. Jak has launched a fund-raiser for a dear friend of hers and the crafting world. Katie Renz is married to Kevin, has twin boys aged 5 and a 10 year old son, and last month was devistatingly diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. You can read all about her story HERE...
Now Jak needs YOUR help! If you nip over to Jak's blog you will see all the goodies and also the PayPal link where you can purchase the digi collection for a bargain £15!!!
The first is a card using 'Katie's Love Swing' from Make it Crafty.
Jak organised the fund-raiser with the help of many companies, who have produced some fantastic digi images especially for the cause. There are also some brilliant prizes to be won too, including a FULL SET of Promarkers from the wonderful Letraset.

As part of Jak's 'Just Inklined' DT, I wanted to do 'my bit' to spread the word x I've made 2 projects using digi's kindly donated by, Make It Crafty and Just Inklined.
The first is a card using 'Katie's Love Swing' from Make it Crafty.
I have printed and coloured the image...cut it into equal pieces (brave I know! ) ...then double embossed each piece to make it glossy, and put them back together with a slight gap to give the impression of looking through a window. I've then made some curtains and finished it with a 'curtain pulley' holding a 'Hope' ribbon x
An image from Just Inklined ...(look...teddy even has blue blood!)... and some grapes would make it a lovely gift for someone in hospital...especially as here in the UK we aren't allowed to take flowers in any more!

Crafters really are amazing people! This is such a fabulous way to raise money.
Your projects are amazing, particularly the swing card - I love the way you have made the tile effect and the curtains - fabulous!
Love, Andrea xx
WOW Lydia - FABULOUS job with the images - I just LOVE the window effect on the first one!

Oh my, you an amazing job you did with those images. I'm crazy about your window scene.
Hello!
Love your cards! I was so impressed by the images that were donated by everyone for this collection. Katie is one brave and determined woman and I keep her in my prayers as she now starts her second round of chemo.
Wishing you a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane
