Goodbye!

No, no...I'm not going anywhere...but our Reception teacher at school retired at the end of term. Mrs Davies had been at the school for almost 16 years, and although my girls have only been there for just over one, she'll be dearly missed. I've helped out with her class on many occasions and it's always been a pleasure, so I know I'm going to miss her around too.
She left the school a fabulous gift to remember her by...... a tricycle!! Not just any old tricycle, but a really robust, sturdy, BLUE tricycle to match school colours.
What better image to use on her card but Mo's gorgeous little Bye-Bye Boy image...And of course, his tricycle had to be blue! :)

It's Christmas!!!!!!!

Well...ok... So it's 'neeearly' Christmas!!!! ^.^
July is the month for us Crafter's to get Christmas under way...unless you're really efficient and have been doing the all year round challenges. The new images...papers...and challenges are all starting to appear, and at Mo's Challenge this week Elaine, has set us the theme of 'Christmas in July' :)
This is my first Christmas card for this year...but don't hold your breath for another one until Christmas Eve!! lol
This image is just gorgeous... called 'I Even Love The Box' ...it's one of Mo's newbies and it just soooo reminds me of my little Grandson George. He used to sit on my lap while we watched and listened to Bob The Builder's 'Big fish, little fish...cardboard box'...hence the sentiment :)
Well... * Merry Christmas * everyone...and I hope you come and join us x

'Kickin' It' for Michelle x

One of the things I love about being involved in the world of crafting is the fact that in times of need, everyone rallies round and does their best to give someone's life a bit more sunshine x
Someone who needs a bit of sunshine right now is one of my old 'Mo DT' pals, Michelle Oatman. Michelle had a really nasty accident a couple of weeks ago ( you can read about it on Michelle's blog HERE) while looking after her beloved donkeys. She was blinded in one eye in the accident, and whilst she is being very strong, and has a lot of support from family and friends, I'm sure it's a very scary place to be too x
If you nip across to the Stampavie blog you can pick up all the details to make Michelle a card, and also a digi image drawn especially...a very cute donkey...And if you check out A Spoon full of Sugar challenge blog, you'll find Michelle's address, and another digi image drawn by the wonderful Melissa from Meljen's designs, which is available from Whimsy Stamps.
Michelle has quite a long journey ahead of her on the road to recovery...and I wish her all the best on her travels xxx

Wacky Wheelz!

From Boy Racers to Hot Wheel Grandpa's these are going to make card making life so easy, Just Passed, Anniversary, Husband , Son, Boyfriend, Uncle,Paramour, Toy Boy or Sugar Daddy, there will be a car that will fit every occasion.

** Blog Hop for Ginger Manning **

**HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINGER! ** Here's hoping you have the very best of Birthdays today xx

Today is the birthday of Mo Manning's Mum - Ginger, and to celebrate, the DT's have made and sent cards to her as she's such a fan :0)
Now, I couldn't resist the opportunity of sending her a candle too as she loved the ones I first made last year using Mo's digital images. The tutorial I made of how to put digi images onto candles can be found HERE.
I'm sure that Ginger loves all of Mo's images, however, Mummu is one of her absolute favs, so I've used Mummu's Laundry.
Now, if you arrived here by chance...welcome! :) If you'd like to start back at the very beginning, then hop over to Jak Heath and if you came here from Peggy then you still need to hop to Jak Heath as the final link :0)
Thanks for joining us, and it would be lovely if you'd like to leave Birthday Wishes for Ginger on this post xx
Wishing all our friends across the pond a very Happy Independence Day too!

Swimming the English Channel!!

Gee, I'm running so late this week!
As a new month begins so does a new hostess at Mo's Challenge...and this month we have Elaine to set the challenges. She has started us off with a great challenge of using FABRIC on our projects. This can be any type of fabric other than ribbon. I've used towelling and lace.
My card has been made for our lovely school swimming teacher Kirsty. She and another 5 girls are swimming the English Channel next week...not just there, but BACK as well!!!!!!!!! Mad I tell you...and Kirsty agrees too! lol If you'd like to read all about them and their hopes, click HERE
Even better, if you could spare a couple of pounds/dollars/or other that would be fantastic x
The image I have used is Pool Party...most appropriate! :0)
