Mind you...I met one of my oldest (time wise... not age...sorry Steve! ^.^) friends, on holiday when I was four, so hopefully in many years time they'll be able to say the same :0)

My Little Princess...All Grew Up!!!

Well...as I type Daisy is at her very last session at Pre-school!
It's sad for the reasons of not seeing all the Mums and children who aren't following on to the local school...but happy for the fact that that 'well loved' chapter closes, ready for a whole new one to begin!
Those of you who know Daisy, will know what a challenge it has been, over the last year especially, to get her to take part in things! Photographs, Christmas plays, fancy dress parties...the list goes on!
Today....*drum roll please*....
My little girl went to her leavers party......as a a princess!!!!!!!!! Fully dressed and even with a smile!!!! :0)
A proud Mummy moment.... Of course, her hat was hand made :0) ...along with the puzzle book that she took in for her key worker.
The book was made with the ever fab 'Funky Meets Shabby Chic' papers... and the hat from the 'Girls' collection.

Baby, Baby...

One of Katieann's teachers finished school on Tuesday and has gone on maternity leave ^.^ Her other teacher left in May and I made an exploding box with little shoes in it. Well, I couldn't do one without the other could I? :0)
So here is set No 2!This set was made using papers from the new Funky's Garden collection.

Teacher No 1, went on to have a baby girl a couple of weeks ago...so I made her a waterfall card...
This was made using the 'Baby Girl' free download...available from the Inspiration blog.

Both teachers will be back at Easter...and will have Daisy in their class!! :0) Good luck to them both...and of course with their new arrivals!! ^.^

Sarah Kay Challenge 2

This weeks Sarah Kay challenge is a sketch...and a great one at that!!

Titled 'A Little Sketchy'...these were the rules...

Please make your work using the Sketch as your guide, You can rotate the sketch & even resize the Elements if you would like to, But do not move the elements around, As long as we can still see the original sketch layout and can be easily recognised then that is fine!
And obviously you must use a Sarah Kay image on your work :0)

I have used torn strips of denim attached to a dungaree clip... cut a couple of flowers from denim with my Big Shot and used a denim type paper from Creating Keepsakes.

Funky Fairy's Papercrafts are sponsoring this weeks challenge...and up for grabs are the two BRAND NEW Funky Meets Shabby Chic and Funky's Garden collections!! Well worth joining in the challenge for!!

Card and Note Book....

I am lucky enough to have borrowed a BIA from my cousin ...thanks Becky :0)
I had the first chance to sit and 'play' last night, and made a note book for a neighbour's daughter whose birthday it is today... and a card to match.

Yep...it's those Shabby Chic papers again...don't you just love them!...and gorgeous Sarah Kay images...thanks Shaz x

Tick Tock, Shabby Clock....

I just loved making this...

I've used Funky Meets Shabby Chic and Funky's Garden papers from Funky Fairy's Papercrafts.
The base circles are CDs...so my beloved Crop-a-dile was needed to make the holes. The Cds were covered with Shabby Chic papers and then heart images from the Stampin' Up! 'Doodle That' collection, were randomly stamped over both in coordinating colours.

The two CDs have been joined using an old dungaree clip and attached with a 'Round Tab' punched out shape from Stampin' Up!
I've then added organza ribbon.

I've used elements from the Funky's Garden collection on the clock along with a Penny Black butterfly, which has been stamped and glittered using Stampin' Up! 'Heat and Stick' and Dazzling Diamonds glitter...then finished with flowers, brads -which have been dotted with a white pen- and liquid pearls.

The second CD has been finished with a water coloured 'Sweet Ebony' image, more flowers and brads and completed with a little silver hat which dangles from a chain attached by more ribbon.
