A Thank You gift...
Another Made with Love and Coffee make! This time a keepsake from the bride and groom to their matron of honour.
I just adore the Tattered Lace range of dies...perfect for the delicate and elegant look on this gift. Handcrafted (by me) bead pins...rolled roses and a ruffled ribbon finish it off nicely x
I will share the matching table decorations soon.
Stay safe everyone x

Mo Challenge # 84

I disappear...and then when I finally get here... I'm late!!! Hoping that next week will give me some much needed 'catch up' time :)
Well, this week at Mo's Challenge we have been given the fab theme of 'Pearls and Flowers' ...and for me...I can't believe how I didn't manage to totally load my card with both pearls AND flowers!! But I was well behaved and went for the 'less is more' look :)
I have used Mo's Fairy Kiki ...and made a card for a friend who could do with a million hugs right now x

Mo Challenge # 78
Morning all x
It's Thursday...so that means it's Mo's Challenge Day! This week our fabulous teamy Dorcus, has set us all the theme of 'Start of Something New' as a challenge. That could be...new job...baby...school...hobby...in fact anything that is a new beginning x
A new life is always such a wonderful and precious thing, and the new little angel that's arrived is the Granddaughter of my dear friend Kathy, who we sadly lost on the 2nd April...just days before the arrival of baby Elizabeth x
I met Kathy about 6 years ago on Craft Swap Forum. I was new to all this 'chatting' lark back then (yes...hard to believe, I know! ) and forums etc were scary places...you hear all the horror stories of chatting to strangers on the net etc! Well, I have to say that I made some of the best friends of my life on there...and continue to make more as I travel in 'blogland' x
I've met a number of them several times at 'get togethers' and craft shows etc..and are just THE best xx ...Which reminds me...Lesley...get that choccy cake in the oven...I'm on my way!! :) x
Never underestimate friendships born from the net...the crafting community has a lot of very special people...and I'm so proud to be part of it x
Baby Elizabeth will of course have her very own Guardian Angel...Kathy will always be a special part of her life x
I have used one of the gorgeous images from the 'Diaper Crew' collection from Mo, and coloured 'her' with Copics. I made the bead pin myself and added a cross charm. The 'Love Hearts' embossing folder is by Crafts Too and available from Dragonfly Designs...as are Copics and the punches which I've used to make the flowers and leaves x
Grab a cuppa and nip across to the Challenge blog...you will just LOVE the cards that my wonderfully talented team mates have created x

Mo's Challenge # 68
I can't believe that Thursday has come round once again, and what's more...it's the second one in February...already!!!!! But hey...there are good things that come with that because of course, it's Mo's Challenge day! Yay!
The theme chosen by our talented 'teamie' Cathy, is... Valentine...BUT...in non traditional colours! So NO RED or PINK to be used!
As I don't sell my cards, and I don't have a need for a squidgy, sloppy card - just for a bit of fun I chose this gorgeous little madam! She is not surprisingly called 'Bossy' and I just couldn't resist giving her the perfect sentiment! :0)
She's coloured in Copics, and I've used some gorgeous new polka dotted glitter card, heart ribbon and the new blue liquid Pearls....all from Dragonfly Designs.
If you nip across to Mo's Challenge blog, I can honestly tell you that the other DT girls will not disappoint you with what they've made x
I'm entering this into ...
Crafter's Companion - Romance (ok, so it's not full of tact, but she shows potential!! lol)
The Crafty Pad - Love is in the air (it's there somewhere, I'm sure lol)
Double Dutch - Love is in the air ( ditto ^.^ )
Creative Cowgirls - Love

It's Elisabeth Bell Digi Day!!!
Yay!! It's time for us to share with you the Sept Digi from our fabulously talented Elisabeth Bell!
Now, some of you may think...huh??? Others will totally understand this image!! Lol
She is called 'Catch of the Day' and it's based on a photo of Elisabeth's little girl, which she took whilst sitting in her shopping trolley...as they do!! :0)
I have tried to give the illusion of a playroom with toys over the floor, with a lovely picture hanging on the wall!! Much like my house!! lol
Don't forget to nip across to the Digi Bells DT blog to find all the other great things the girls have made, and follow the links to all their blogs where you'll find their Sept digi creations x

This weeks challenge with Mo and her Digital Pencil has been set by our hostess for this monthPeggy, and she has given us the fabulous theme of...'Something with wings', (fairies, angels, bugs)

I was having one of my late night/early morning chit chats with Mo...and I was telling her that I was going to do a little mini book using her complete set of 5 Fairies for this weeks challenge. ''Oh, with a story'' asks Mo! Errmm ''maybe not'' says I ... ''A poem'' asks Mo! Hmmm... ''maybe a rhyme'' says I ...and the rest as 'they' say is...'fantasy'!! :0)
Mo need not worry about her book writing ...I don't think I'm much competition for her! Lol
We have special things with this challenge too!!
''And, for this challenge, we are kicking it up a few notches for something out of the box. From the entries this week, we'll be picking a guest designer to join us for the month of September.
In addition, one lucky person will be chosen randomly to receive a $20 gift certificate to Mo's digi shop. That's two winners for this week's challenge. Great odds, friends.''
It's got to be worth playing along!! :) Have fun!!

Goodbye!
She left the school a fabulous gift to remember her by...... a tricycle!! Not just any old tricycle, but a really robust, sturdy, BLUE tricycle to match school colours.
What better image to use on her card but Mo's gorgeous little Bye-Bye Boy image...And of course, his tricycle had to be blue! :)

Fab'n'Funky - Pieced
Morning all! What a change in the weather! Yesterday I was seriously thinking of putting the heating on, and today...the back door and all the windows are open!!! Madness!!!
Well today is Fab'n'Funky challenge day, and this week we'd like you to use 'paper piecing' on your creations.
The card I have made for this weeks challenge is a special one. It's a request from my Mo DT & FB buddy Lisa. Lisa's sister Jayme, is terminally ill with lung cancer, and Lisa is asking her card making friends to make a cheerful card to send on to her. Jayme is a frog collector, so this fab image from Meljen's Designs was just perfect x
I'm entering this into the following challenges...
Sketch & Stash - it's their fabby sketch and I've used my new Meljen's image
Stampin for the Weekend - Make a card to cheer someone up!

Black'n'White...
Well, it's Wednesday again...and it's raining...again!!! What a miserable day out there! Mind you, as I know lots of my lovely crafting buddies have snow...again...I'll leave my complaining there! Me thinks I'd rather have the wet stuff than the white stuff!! ^.^
Wednesday is of course Fab'n'Funky challenge day though, and this week we have one of my fav colour combo's (ermm...that'll be me who chose it then!! lol ) and it's 'Black'n'White' ...but ...you may use colour for your image IF you chose to use one :) I'm good like that!! ^.^
Oh and...nearly forgot to say that ... the fantastic Mr Dustin Pike is sponsoring us this week...and you have the chance of winning a digi image! Yay :)
Have fun, and have a great day...what ever you're doing xx

Welcome Home!!
Today starts a new challenge with Mo and her Digital Pencil...and this week Lisa has given us the theme of 'Shades of Grey'!
To start with it seemed that 'challenge' was the right word, but you know...once you get going it actually grows on you! :)
When I first saw this image from Mo, (Young Love) it immediately shouted 'Mum and Dad's Christmas card' at me...but then things kind of went pear shaped and Christmas was spent with both of them being in hospital, and of course on different wards, so it wasn't really the same. However, Mum came home last week, and Dad...after 7 weeks...is coming home tomorrow!! So what better way to say 'Welcome Home' to them both than to use this fab image. It'll be lovely to see them both back together...after all, I think this is the longest that they've ever been apart in 57 (and a half!...very important ^.^ ) years of marriage!!

The Last One!! :0)
Well...DD No4 chose Pink and Green for her 2nd card...and as it happens Lime Green and Rose Pink are the two colours for this weeks challenge at Passion for Promarkers!! I have used the sketch from this fortnight's challenge at Delightful Sketches also.
It looks a simple sketch but it's taken me forever as I'm a bit of a perfectionist and had to have everything exact and line up perfectly!! lol.
Never mind...it was worth it...to me anyway! :0)
