Mo's Challenge # 73

Ok, so what happened to that week??? Oh well...there will be more so never mind. It's Thursday and Mo Challenge day and that's the main thing :)
This weeks challenge has been set by the lovely Pat again, and she's given us the theme of 'All Irish'. No, that doesn't mean you have to make St Patrick's Day cards...they just need to have a main colour of green.
I've made 'my' (well, Kayleigh's actually! ) little George's 1st Birthday card...can't believe it will be a year ago on Friday that at 10lb 110zs, he appeared and changed our lives forever! He's an adorable little guy and such a credit to his Mummy xx
I've used the gorgeous image 'Freddy' from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured him with Copics and Prisma pencils. I never thought I'd hear myself saying this BUT...how bloomin' hard is it to do 'wiggly' lines on a sewing machine???!!!!!!! *.* No easier than straight lol
U2 are playing in the background, how appropriate!! Have a lovely day all xx

Merry Christmas!!!

No, I've not lost the plot just yet!!! This is one of the few cards I did manage to make...it was for a friend, who is a star and sorts my car for me...even if it is 2 days before Christmas! :)

I have used the rather apt image from Karen's Doodles ... Mr Fix It Car ... I merged it with a little snowman to make it look a bit more festive (but I can't remember where he came from ... so apologies x ) ...as it was made at high speed, you may notice the mistake in the photograph...luckily it was put to rights before it was given away...phew!!
The theme at ABC Christmas Challenge this week is A is for Anything Christmas ...

Mo's Challenge # 62

STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *.*
I'm sooooooooo NOT ready for Christmas yet!!! 365 days notice just isn't long enough!!!!!
I have taken advantage of Mo's challenge this week to get another much needed Christmas card made! The theme set by our dear friend Lisa ... is Fantasyland! Invite all those princesses, fairies and elves to play! I've used the gorgeous Bella Loves Christmas on my card and coloured her with Prisma pencils.

Seven Swans A Swimming...

Morning all! :)
I thought we were going to have a sunny day...silly me!! It showed it's face and disappeared again to make way for the sky full of yukky clouds!
I'm dashing in this morning to bring you a card using one of the very gorgeous, '12 Dames of Christmas' die cut decoupage range. This is the Seven Swans A Swimming design.
Running off again now...but if you get 5 minutes, nip and take a look at the rest of the range ...HERE...they are beautiful, and may even be an answer to some of your 'male' Christmas card needs!!! 'wink wink'

Fab'n'Funky - Pieced

Morning all! What a change in the weather! Yesterday I was seriously thinking of putting the heating on, and today...the back door and all the windows are open!!! Madness!!!
Well today is Fab'n'Funky challenge day, and this week we'd like you to use 'paper piecing' on your creations.
The card I have made for this weeks challenge is a special one. It's a request from my Mo DT & FB buddy Lisa. Lisa's sister Jayme, is terminally ill with lung cancer, and Lisa is asking her card making friends to make a cheerful card to send on to her. Jayme is a frog collector, so this fab image from Meljen's Designs was just perfect x

I'm entering this into the following challenges...
Sketch & Stash - it's their fabby sketch and I've used my new Meljen's image
Stampin for the Weekend - Make a card to cheer someone up!
Polka Doodles - Sew & Sew

Doubling Up with Mo!

Hello! What a miserable old night!! The rain is pelting against the windows, and the wind is sounding a bit rough out there too! I'm glad I'm cosy in here! Mind you...if Mr Blogger does as he's asked...It'll be morning and I'll be at school when this goes out! :0)
Anyway...this week for Mo's challenge Caryn would like us to make a Christmas Scene using more than one image on our creations! You can paper piece these or use software to merge them.
I don't have any software to do the latter, so here is my card using Mo's fantabulous new 'Sticky' (again!! ;)) and her Decorated Tree...
I can't wait to see all your fabulous work ;)
Oooh and!!!! ...I'd just like to wish all my wonderful friends from across the pond...A Very Happy Thanksgiving xxx

No Image Allowed!!!

'GULP'!!!!! *.*
That's the challenge at Funky Fairy's this week...and after the initial shock of 'No Image' ...not a stamped one...not a digi one...not a tiny one...not part of one...not even a picture! Some were more shocked than others...mentioning no names.....LOU!!! lol It became a challenge that I actually really enjoyed doing...it's so effective! :) If you nip over to the challenge blog and look at all the fabulous DT work, you'll see what I mean :)
I used the brand new set of papers from Funky Fairy's Papercrafts - 'Add A Splash of Colour' ... this is a collection of really gorgeous papers!! Floral, stripes, paisleys, plain, shabby & dots all in sorts of wonderful colours!
Oh and!!!!!!...Almost forgot to say...we are after a Guest DT member for 2 weeks...so if you want to try for that, just add DT to your comment when you've made your project :) Good Luck x

A Fairy Recipe!

This little Fairy called Tabia is a new image from Mo, at Digital Pencil Too, and I thought she went well with the Simply Swirly and Simply Brushed papers from Funky Fairy's Papercrafts.

The second is Papertake Weekly - their theme is Fairies and Angels... and
The third is Flutter by Wednesday - Danni wants you to use a Fairy image
I have also used the sketch from Truly Scrumptious...although I haven't used the theme that went with it so haven't entered it.
