Don't you just love these ickle Funky Fairy's????
This one has been coloured using Sakura Souffle pens. The flowers have been made with 2 sizes of daisy punch...and the top layer is plain vellum, which I smudged lime chalk ink over.

Hearts Desire...
The Papertake Challenge this week is 'Hearts Desire'.
''Please could we see some hearts (or a heart lol!) on your cards this week? Already done your Valentine's cards? How about doing a Wedding / Anniversary / engagement or birthday card! We don't mind which - as long as there's a heart or two...or three.....!!!''
Well, what a good excuse to use my 'Funky Fairy' ... from Funky Fairy's Papercrafts ...with all her hearts!!!
She's very new and is quite shy...but here she is...

Tango'd!!!
Well, orange is NOT one of the colours I usually work with but...this weeks Funky Fairy challenge...set by Meayla is this ...
yep your challenge MUST include orange, black AND circles
white is allowed but NO other colour!!!
circles MUST feature heavily- somewhere or somehow!!!
other things can be added as long as they are within the colour scheme!!!'
For a bit of fun...this is my interpretation...and actually it made a lovely change to work with orange!
I have used a combination of the orange freebie papers from Funky Fairy. The flowers have been made using 2 sizes of circle punches and the caterpillar is made from circles made in word and printed off! The only additions to it are flower eyelets and dragonfly brads...in orange of course!!
The black is the base circle btw...the blue behind it is just a piece of white mount board that I put it on to take the picture...which as you can see...is to my usual dreadful standard!!
'for challenge 5 you get to dig out all your oranges, blacks,n circles!

Royalty
Last weeks...Eeek, late again!!...Florrie's ATC challenge on Craftswap had the theme of 'Royalty'!
My one ickle brain cell struggled to think of something for this...until I found a crown!! Then all I had to do was find a head for it to fit on!
Anyway...here is my finished effort...For the background I have used Rose Madder, Chrome Yellow and Deep Turquoise ink pads from Nick Bantock...then lightly rubbed Tim Holtz Tattered Rose over the top. Onto that I have stamped the gorgeous little girl image from Crafty Individuals and then spritzed with 'Solar Gold' Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels.
The gold ribbon is held on using my 'Microstitch' tag machine. The crown (which has since had gems added) was placed gently on her head and the word 'Princess' added to finish.

Violets are Blue
This weeks Papertake Challenge was followed on from last weeks 'Roses are Red'.
Finally managed to do it! Mind you...a lot of recycling has gone on with this one...Ooooops!
The base paper is from the 'purple' free download from Funky Fairy's...the other papers are from DCWV Once Upon A Time, and the ickle elf image has been stamped onto white card stock and coloured using watercolour pencils. Oh, and his wings have been dusted with Glamour dust.
The edges have been swiped with Dusty Concord and Faded Jeans Distress Inks...as with the Happy Birthday sentiment.
I'm sorry but I don't know anything about the stamp image as it is unmounted and came from Ebay

Winged Things...
This weeks Funky Fairy Challenge was set by Andrea. Her challenge was this...
'Create a papercrafted item incorporating a winged thingy, It could be a Funky Fairy, Butterfly, Angel, Cherub ( do cherubs have wings?) etc.... but it has to be the main focal point of the item.'
This is my creation...
I've used the 'Meadow' papers from Funky Fairy's papercrafts...and the stamp is made by Funstamps!
As many of you know, my forum user name is 'angelwivattitude' and this stamp was spotted by Simon way back in time, and I just HAD to have it!!

Funky Bags...
Having been AWOL from my blog for a couple of days I thought I'd better say hello and let you know I'm still here!!! ^.^
I found some scalloped bag templates the other day and thought I'd have a quick play last night!
I stuck each one to a piece of paper with non permanent roller glue and ran them through the printer, folded them into shape and added a few gems, pearls and embellishments!
The first two can just have a sentiment added as and when needed.
The backing designs are 'Funky Flowers' from Funky Fairy's
These two items are templates included in the Pinkie Pops kit...and there's heaps more!!!
This is one of the gift bags...
I've added a 3D flower, which I added Diamond Glaze to the centre of, and sprinkled very fine glitter and left to dry. Ribbon for handles and it's done!
This one is a gift box. Again simple and quick to make up, then add embellishments!

Love Is In The Air...
I made a couple of Valentine cards last night for my friend Linda's charity...The Tia McCarthy Trust
Tia (Linda's 5 year old niece) had never received a Valentine card before, so Linda sent emails to work colleagues appealing for cards to be sent to her. On her last Valentines day she received two sack loads from all over the world! Linda makes and sells cards all year round to raise funds for the charity, but Valentine's are always extra special
These and Roses are Red, will be on their way to you asap x
Big hugs Linda xxx

Pretty in Pink...
This is a card which I made for the Valentine Candy Challenge.
The challenge was to simply make a Valentine card. But...it must contain three 'things...
White card stock has been wiped over with Distress Ink pads in Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose....then spritzed with water. I have then rubbed the same colours over a piece of white linen effect card and mounted on the card.
A square of stampbord has been given the same colours and spritzed, and a decorative heart image stamped onto it with black Stazon. The 'Love' image from the Doodles for Daniel range has been inked with...yep...you guessed it!! Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose and a piece of ribbon tied around. Finally, I have coloured a Prima flower to match and used a Sakura Gelly roll pen in clear to dot round the edges and around the heart shapes on the 'love' image.

Maggie is back!
This is an ATC which I made for a one off swap with a friend on Craftswap.
She has been coloured using Sakura pens and her boots have been 'Diamond glazed' ...then mounted on an ATC which has been covered with papers from ...! and the edges inked.
Hearts punched from opposite corners and a piece of ribbon to finish x
Not a great picture due to the glittery finish...but better than the last one I'd got!!! ^.^

A Study in Scarlet...
This is the theme set by Jane, for this weeks Fat Book Page Challenge on Craftswap forum!
After a deal of umming and ahhing, thinking and searching, I came up with this...
I have used some textured red paper for this, with a slight sheen...hence the bad photography! The key and keyhole stamps are from Tanda stamps and the secret stamp...hmmm...not sure!
Inside left...the lace stamped image is also from Tanda and the heart is a die cut which has been inked round the edge and a piece of organza ribbon tied across it. The couple on a bench was an unmounted stamp from ebay some time back so I'm not sure of it's manufacturer! (not good at this stamp naming lark am I?? !!!) ... 'eternity' has been stamped on a separate piece of the same paper and an eyelet put in with ribbon to finish.
Oh...nearly forgot!!! The metal hinges, from making memories, were cream, so I needed to colour them. Not having a red alcohol ink I thought I'd try peel off pen as I wanted something that would dry. It did better than that...I did three layers of colour to get a deep red and it has dried with the marble effect that alcohol inks give!! Result!!!

Roses are Red....
I thought I'd have a go at the Papertake challenge this week...it is this..........
This weeks challenge, 'Roses are Red..' is to use red on your card! Any shade or shades of red that you like from bright pillar box to deep burgandy!!
This is my effort...which I am going to donate to Linda_E for her charity. I know how much Valentine's day meant to little Tia ...this is for her xxxx
The backing papers I've used are from Raspberry Road. The 'Love' stamped image is from the 'doodles for daniel' range, and has been coloured with a red Sakura gelly roll pen and Fired Brick Distress ink. I have then used my Versamark pad and embossed it with a frost embossing powder (I'm not sure where from).
Maggie, has been coloured using watercolour pencils and her balloon is a heart shaped brad. Two red snaps have been put down in the bottom left to balance it a bit and red ribbon tied round two of the letters.

Funky Fairy Challenge-week 3
Phew...that wasn't so easy !!!
This weeks challenge was set by Karen and this was it...
'put away your tape, glue or anything else sticky: This is a no-glue card challenge!' !!
Easy you think? ...Well, I hate to tell you how many times I mindlessly reached for the 'sticky' stuff!!! ^.^
Anyway...I managed it...
I cut the background paper to size, then tore the vellum randomly and layered on top of the backing paper. I've then attached both layers to card stock with white eyelets using my trusty Crop-a-dile. Through the top two eyelets I've strung 3mm satin ribbon and attached the double layered matching tag.
The daisy flowers have been stamped onto pearlised vellum and cut out. I've curled the edges over and placed each one on a piece of foam, then wiggled my Bookatrix glitter tool around the centres to give them a bit of dimension. These have then been attached with pink brads...and although you probably can't see it, I've dusted over the whole card with...wait for it...a 'sparkle brush'!! This is a childs make up accessory that I bought from Asda last year and is great for finishing little girly cards ^.^
**Oh and...it's mummy's own brush, so no child from this household was upset during the making of this card ^,^
Both the backing paper and vellum are Pinkie Pops designs, and the daisy stamp is from the 'doodles for daniel' range.
Hope you like it!

I had something in mind to make tonight...BUT...as with all best plans of mine...it didn't happen! ^-^
Instead I sat and made three cards with my 'doodles for daniel' stamps! ^.^
The daisy on this one has been stamped onto a piece of glossy photo paper, which I'd covered with an Adirondack 'Wild Plum' ink pad, and lightly swirled with a damp piece of kitchen towel. I then added a double tag with the daisy pot image on it and a piece of ribbon tied across the top. It's been finished off with dots of pink raspberry and white Liquid Pearls.
This one has backing papers from Raspberry Road Designs and the daisy pot image has been coloured with Sakura Souffle pens.

On this one I have used a brilliance ink pad to stamp the little daisy as a background, and inked around the edge. The daisy pot has been mounted on pink mirri card and a few gems added to finish it off.
And...the last one...This one has backing papers from Raspberry Road Designs and the daisy pot image has been coloured with Sakura Souffle pens.

All About Me....
Well, that's not totally true actually...it's about my DD No3 ^.^
Papers are the wonderful 'Pinkie Pops' from Funky Fairy's Papecrafts.
It was Katieann's turn to bring home the 'All About Me' box this weekend. Every child gets to do this over the course of the school year, and in it they are to put bits and bobs that relate to things about themselves...oh and... photographs!!! Well, I couldn't just throw a handful of photo's in an empty box now could I???
Oh yes...you've guessed it...I had to spend the weekend crafting!!!!!!! It was a real shame ...NOT!
I have to say I was a tinsy bit...ok a HUGE bit possesive over the finished piece as I waved her into school this morning. Her last words to me were...'Love you, bye...and yes, I'll look after the book' ...Hmmmm...looks as if me saying 'Please look after the book' 30 times this morning paid off!!
This is the said book...
Papers are the wonderful 'Pinkie Pops' from Funky Fairy's Papecrafts.
I also made her a little flip book with a different subject on each page for her to fill in...ie...my favourite toy, best story book, favourite dinner etc.
** She has just got in from school...and phew!...it's all in tact ^.^
