Fab 'n' Funky...

Well...we've awoken to another huge helping of snow, here in Surrey this morning!! Just as we were all starting to get from A to B again too! So, with the schools closed, and even the children bored of playing in the snow...I feel a crafting session coming on! :0)
Anyway...before I disappear, I'd better do what I came on to do!! This week the Fab 'n' Funky challenge blog has moved!! We have started a new blog 'HERE' ...but are still the same Fab 'n' Funky team :0)
The challenge this week is a sketch with the added theme of 'Birthday', and has a prize giveaway from our very own Lou, as it's her birthday tomorrow!!! :0)

Mo's Challenge #13...Birthdays!

Unfortunately, I had to let my team mates, on Mo's challenge blog, down this week :o( With everything going on with my parents etc I didn't get a chance to craft! Then the 'white stuff' arrived, and although I was grounded for a while, and the girls were off school...they just seemed to be in and out of the garden...in and out of wet and dry clothes...and inbetween all that...they were hungry!!! tut!!! ;o)
Anyway, last night I managed to find the bottom of my craft desk!! Yay me! So, although it's late...here's my card for this weeks challenge x
Before I go, I thought I'd share with you a little bit of colour in amongst all the white that we in the UK have got right now...So pretty!!! Recycled Icicles...
This is where a huge icicle has been dripping! The splashes have frozen! ... And so did this plant!!!

Closing Down!!!

Sadly for us...but totally understandable from Shaz's corner... Funky Fairy's Papercrafts are closing their doors. Shaz is taking time out to concentrate on her family life...and hopefully have time for a bit of crafting too!! :) I for one am really going to miss FFP... Shaz, and her papers became a huge part of my crafting life, and I know I'll still be hitting the 'print' button!!
Shaz will be putting the bolt across the door tonight so quick!!! Get your wings on for the last time and fly across to the shop to pick up some fabulous cut price goodies!! Can you believe that the fantastical Pinkie Pops is at an all time low price of £2!!!!!
Don't forget the FFInspirations blog too...there are the 'Freebies' over there and that will also close tonight.

Let it Snow...

Another white day here in Surrey. Not all nice and fluffy though...a lot of it is really horrible ice! Our estate is like a skating rink, but I made it out to visit Dad in hospital and back again, and that's the main thing :0)
These are the cards that I made for some of the staff and TA's at the little one's school...I have got quite attached to 'white' cards! Now just think of all the stash I could cut down on buying if I made them all white!!! :0)

All White!!

No...not outside...although we did get quite a bit of the 'white stuff' yesterday! 'All White' is the theme of the challenge that I've set for this week at Mo's.
I think white looks so lovely on it's own...we are allowing you to use colour on your images...but that's all!! :0)

All that Glitters...

...along with another great sketch, is our Fab 'n' Funky challenge this week! It's been rather manic this week with poorly parents and making Christmas Play costumes...but I've finished sewing and just managed to make a card before I dash off to my bed! :0)

Wedding Punch!

Just wanted to share this card with you. It's a wedding card that I made for the son and wife to be (tomorrow) of a very dear friend of mine. I'm sure they have better things to do than to look at my blog...but I'd like to wish Jonathan and Abigail a lifetime of happiness and hope that they have an absolutely wonderful day tomorrow xx

Winter Wonderland...

The challenge at Winter Wonderland this week is to 'stamp a candle or decorate a candle holder'!! Yay! I love doing these ^.^
I have used a gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp this time...and there are links to 'stamping' tutorials on the Winter Wonderland blog...but I quite often use digi images for my candles, so if you'd like a tutorial for using those, I have made one HERE ...

Doubling Up with Mo!

Hello! What a miserable old night!! The rain is pelting against the windows, and the wind is sounding a bit rough out there too! I'm glad I'm cosy in here! Mind you...if Mr Blogger does as he's asked...It'll be morning and I'll be at school when this goes out! :0)
Anyway...this week for Mo's challenge Caryn would like us to make a Christmas Scene using more than one image on our creations! You can paper piece these or use software to merge them.
I don't have any software to do the latter, so here is my card using Mo's fantabulous new 'Sticky' (again!! ;)) and her Decorated Tree...
I can't wait to see all your fabulous work ;)
