Little Village Church

At long last I've managed to find my computer after moving house! I'm 'boxed' in a little corner in my new craft room with this
as the view over my shoulder at the moment though!!

The 'last' lot of units arrived on Friday ...and Really Useful Boxes...and they now need building and filling!! Tough job I know...can't wait...it's going to be sooooo yummy in here when it's done :)

Anyway....
This is a card made with the stamped image of 'Little Village Church' by Just Inklined and available HERE from LaPashe
I've stamped in linen and coloured with Copics.
I also decorated a candle using the same image.

Hope you're all having a fab Bank Holiday weekend if you're in the UK xx

I've used Mo's totally gorgeous Ragged Romeo and coloured them with Copics.
I had a rummage about in some old paper piles the other day and found this from Funky Fairy...who sadly are no more...but Shaz certainly had some fab designs x

This weeks challenge at Mo's has the theme... STITCHING ... Real or Faux... I love sewing on cards, but my machine hasn't made it back out from Christmas time yet...so no real stitching from me this time. I have used Mo's totally gorgeous Winter Fairy Halla  and coloured her with Copics.
Now I've found my craft desk again I hope not to lose it !!
Take care all and hope to be back very soon :)

I have used the gorgeous 'A  Thousand Stars' from Mo and coloured with Copics.

Mo Challenge # 96...Something Blue

Morning all!! Another dull and dreary day here in the UK...think I must have blinked and missed summer at some stage!!  I suppose it kind of blends with this weeks Mo's Challenge as the theme set for us is 'Something Blue' ...that said....there's nothing dreary about any of the DT's cards...nip and have a look at their wonderful work over on the challenge blog x
I've used the totally gorgeous On The Pot (boy)  from the wonderful Mo and her Digital Pencil...coloured him with Copics...and added him to a card with DP's from Stamping Up and the Daisy & Dandelion ranges.

Mo Challenge # 92 Summer Vacation...

Wow!! It's been so long since I came in here that I had to dust before I could sit and do anything... and such a long time since I've crafted too! I've put that to rights and made a few 'teacher' cards in the last couple of days...and have HUGE plans to get some 'me' time once school finishes tomorrow! Yip!! ^.^
Well I'm back, (late!)... and playing at Mo's Challenge this week, and boy have I missed the girls and their incredible work x
This weeks theme is 'Summer Vacation'...here in the UK the weather seems to be confusing Summer with Autumn...it's rained and rained...and rained some more...but regardless of the weather, we are just one day away from the summer hols and so this is my DT card for this challenge, based on the teachers going off on Summer Vacation....

Mo Challenge # 87

Hi all :)  Ok, so what happened to our weather? I know I really shouldn't complain considering what's going on around the world...BUT... I was quite liking waking up to sunshine and flinging open the windows!  Oh well...on the not so sunny days, it gives us a good excuse to craft! :)
This week at Mo's Challenge, we were given the theme ... To use A Tag/Tags and your fav embellies ... I've used 4 small tags to make the BABY sentiment, and my ribbon and roses have to be right up there with my fav embellishments!
If you get a chance, do nip across to the challenge blog to see the rest of the DT's work...it's amazing! x

Mo Challenge # 78

Morning all x
It's Thursday...so that means it's Mo's Challenge Day! This week our fabulous teamy Dorcus, has set us all the theme of 'Start of Something New' as a challenge. That could be...new job...baby...school...hobby...in fact anything that is a new beginning x
A new life is always such a wonderful and precious thing, and the new little angel that's arrived is the Granddaughter of my dear friend Kathy, who we sadly lost on the 2nd April...just days before the arrival of baby Elizabeth x
I met Kathy about 6 years ago on Craft Swap Forum. I was new to all this 'chatting' lark back then (yes...hard to believe, I know! ) and forums etc were scary places...you hear all the horror stories of chatting to strangers on the net etc! Well, I have to say that I made some of the best friends of my life on there...and continue to make more as I travel in 'blogland' x
I've met a number of them several times at 'get togethers' and craft shows etc..and are just THE best xx ...Which reminds me...Lesley...get that choccy cake in the oven...I'm on my way!! :) x
Never underestimate friendships born from the net...the crafting community has a lot of very special people...and I'm so proud to be part of it x
Baby Elizabeth will of course have her very own Guardian Angel...Kathy will always be a special part of her life x

I have used one of the gorgeous images from the 'Diaper Crew' collection from Mo, and coloured 'her' with Copics. I made the bead pin myself and added a cross charm. The 'Love Hearts' embossing folder is by Crafts Too and available from Dragonfly Designs...as are Copics and the punches which I've used to make the flowers and leaves x

Grab a cuppa and nip across to the Challenge blog...you will just LOVE the cards that my wonderfully talented team mates have created x

Mo Challenge # 76

Morning!
It's Thursday again!! Have we had a week of them by any chance?? :) It does mean that it's challenge day at Mo's again though...so all is not lost! ^.^
We have our wonderfully talented Pat hosting again this week...and after last weeks fabulous choice of 'Attitude', she has chosen 'Buttons & Bows' for us!! All she asks is that you of course use a Mo image...and at least one button and one bow.

I used the adorable little 'Savannah On Easter' image...and coloured her with Copics x
I have used the sketch from Sketch N Stash this week - new ribbon (surprise! lol) new sentiment stamp.

Flower Cross

It's hard to believe that we are heading towards Easter at an alarming speed...especially as Christmas was only a few weeks ago!! Wasn't it??? *.*
I have a few Easter cards to make, and as I have quite a few...ok...HEAPS of family birthdays in the next month too I thought I'd better get a move on!! I have used the gorgeous Flower cross by Just Inklined for this card...and coloured it with copics x

It was so nice to wake up to sunshine yesterday, and as I'm typing this at night... I hope it's the same this morning!
Our lovely Pat has chosen our theme for Mo's Challenge again this week, and it's.....ATTITUDE! ...What do you mean...that's right up my street??? *.* "Who Me???"
I have used the adorable Bella & Bronte 'I Dunno' which you can purchase from Mo's 'old shop.......BUT ....you must take a look in Mo's wonderful new shop! Have you been there yet?? No? Well get going...it's just Fab!!! ♥♥

Mo Challenge # 74

Morning :)
This week at Mo's Challenge, Pat has set us a theme of... 'One for the Boys'! So a good reason to challenge yourself and make one of those not so easy cards for the men!
I have used the ever so gorgeous 'Georgie' ...and the glory of this image is you can use him either cartwheeling or jumping for joy!!
Papers - Basic Grey...
Colouring medium - Copics...
Border Punch - Martha Stewart...
Tag Punch - Stampin' Up!

I am entering this into
'Cards for Men' - I've used their sketch

Have a happy day x

Mo's Challenge # 73

Ok, so what happened to that week??? Oh well...there will be more so never mind. It's Thursday and Mo Challenge day and that's the main thing :)
This weeks challenge has been set by the lovely Pat again, and she's given us the theme of 'All Irish'. No, that doesn't mean you have to make St Patrick's Day cards...they just need to have a main colour of green.
I've made 'my' (well, Kayleigh's actually! ) little George's 1st Birthday card...can't believe it will be a year ago on Friday that at 10lb 110zs, he appeared and changed our lives forever! He's an adorable little guy and such a credit to his Mummy xx
I've used the gorgeous image 'Freddy' from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured him with Copics and Prisma pencils. I never thought I'd hear myself saying this BUT...how bloomin' hard is it to do 'wiggly' lines on a sewing machine???!!!!!!! *.* No easier than straight lol
U2 are playing in the background, how appropriate!! Have a lovely day all xx

Just Inklined are Hopping Again!

It's the first Monday of the month again...so it's Just Inklined blog hop day! :)
This month our hop theme has been chosen by the ever so fab Joyce...and it's...'Embossing' ...
I've used the fab 'Ringo' image from Just Inklined and have embossed the shaker surround with the Tim Holtz 'wood' folder. The background is wood veneer.

If you're heading in the right direction then you should have arrived here from Jeni's blog...and with a huge hop from here, you will get to the wonderfully talented and completely potty (not like me!!) Meesh's blog :) If you've nipped in any other way then you won't want to miss anything...so run back to the beginning, which is the lovely Joyce

If you get lost and didn't bring your sat nav, then below is the hop order to get you back to where you want to be :)

Mo's Challenge # 69

Morning :)
This week Cathy has made a sketch for us to follow at Mo's Challenge. I just love sketches sometimes when you just can't think of where you want to put things :)
I've used one of Mo's gorgeous little fairies this week and some scrummy new papers from Prima, called 'Annalee' ... and Jack and Jill. She was coloured in Copics...and I've dotted my 'new colour' liquid pearls everywhere too :)

Sweet Sixteen...

I can't believe that I'm making cards for 16 year olds...and they're my 'little' Emz's friends!! She'll not thank me for saying but...it only seems a short time ago she started Pre school *sigh* And in a couple of months they'll all be finishing Secondary!
Anyway... I have used my brand new stamp that I bought at the Stevenage show, from the ever-so lovely Teresa at Crafts and Me ... Violet Angel ...
