Mo's Challenge #2

WoW!!! Over 130 of you joined us last week for Mo's (ok...Bella and Bronte's!! ) first ever challenge and with such fabulous work too!!! Thanks for joining us x
If you'd like to play along with Mo's Challenge this week, the theme is.......'FALL' ! The challenge...to create something using an image or colours of 'Fall' ...with a maximum of TWO embellishments! Eeek!! Don't forget you must use one of Mo's images.
I've used 'Tramp' ... And surrounded him with colours of Autumn...Now, before you dash off, I must just share an exciting bit of news with you! The girls in the Dream Team are having a Blog Hop!!! These will happen every 3rd Thursday of the month!!

Pink Christmas!!

Happy Monday morning to you :)
The challenge at Cute Daisy May this week is ...Pink Christmas!! It's lovely to see all the traditional Christmas colours...but being the creative type that we are...it's good to see variation too. So put aside all those rich golds, deep reds and greens and gather up all those powder and sugar pinks...not forgetting the glitter of course!!! :)

Allsorts of Kraft...

Hi all...hope you're having a peaceful Sunday. The weather is much nicer than yesterday but you can definitely tell it's October!!
What better excuse do we need than to stay in the warm and craft...or is that...Kraft??
For this weeks challenge over at Allsorts they would like us to use the colour 'Kraft' on our cards...

It's Christmas!!

Well...not quite, but it's a good excuse to get the glitter out!! :)
I am entering this card into this weeks My Time To Craft - Snow Buddies ... and A Spoon Full of Sugar - Christmas ... challenges.
I've used Noelle Bearing Gifts ...an adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil Too ... and made my own backing paper using the Stampin' Up! Bold Snowflakes wheel.

A Cutie Passion...

Yay! It's Friday Photobucket
It's been quite a week here, with both sad and happy news. I'm quite looking forward to a lazy morning tomorrow, and keeping fingers crossed for a few hours of peaceful crafting too!! :)
I have to say I really enjoyed making this card...the colours were a great combo! Passion for Promarkers challenges are a great way of using colours together that you normally wouldn't. This week the colours are Cool Aqua and Apricot!! I have also used the sketch from Cutie Sunday...

Anything but a Card...

WoW!! Another gorgeous day down here in the South!! The windows and patio doors wide open...washing out and the smell of scrummy biscuits wafting through the house!! Emily has been making biscuits with the little ones and we're all waiting patiently...sort of!! lol
Daisy went to a birthday party for two of her friends today and I made them a named writing pad each to go with their cards and pressies.
I've used the BRAND NEW papers from Funky Fairy's papercrafts - Camo Style - and also for the first time - Denny Dragon - from Pink Gem Designs...and entered them into the challenge at Polka Doodles this week, which is to make Anything but a Card.

Buttons in the Sugar Bowl!

This fortnights sketch at the Sugar Bowl was fab...and there was an added option of buttons. This is my card, which I have made for the daughter of a friend of mine.
It's a congrats on her GCSE exam results...hence the gorgeous little Gorjuss girl holding her star!! Amongst her many passes she got an A* and 4 A's!!!

A Fairy Recipe!

This little Fairy called Tabia is a new image from Mo, at Digital Pencil Too, and I thought she went well with the Simply Swirly and Simply Brushed papers from Funky Fairy's Papercrafts.
I have made a birthday card and entered it into 3 challenges!
The first is Dare u 2 Digi Stamp...they have a recipe this week... 1 ribbon, 2 patterned papers and 3 flowers...
The second is Papertake Weekly - their theme is Fairies and Angels... and
The third is Flutter by Wednesday - Danni wants you to use a Fairy image
I have also used the sketch from Truly Scrumptious...although I haven't used the theme that went with it so haven't entered it.

Well, Autumn is definitely starting to show it's face! The mornings are chilly, the leaves are turning and the nights are drawing in! But I love it!! It's one of the healthy feeling seasons and so pretty too :)
This week on the Cute Daisy May challenge the theme is 'Pink and ?' ...
I have a friend who has just got engaged - Many Congratulations Jackie and Alan! - and so the ideal colour combo for me seemed to be ...Pink & Brown!

Back To School

Well, the girls have gone back to school...and I guess we're on the countdown to Christmas now!! Eeek!
This is a card that I made for my little ones, and I've entered it into the Cute Card Thursday challenge, which is Back to School. I've used the sketch from this weeks Sketch & Stash challenge and also used my new fabulous 'First Day of School' image from Mo at Digital Pencil Too...Here are the youngest two on their way out the door...Katieann is now in Year 3, which makes her a Junior, so they had to exchange their polo shirts and sweatshirts for a V neck sweater, shirt and tie! Bless :)

Hello Baby!!!

I made a card for a friend who has just had a gorgeous little boy...all wrinkly, crinkly and scrummy ;)
I have used the sketch from this weeks Sweet Shop challenge...and also entered it into the challenge at 'Stamp Something' who's theme is Birthday Somethings! I know it's not technically a birthday card, but birthdays have to start somewhere, and what better time than the day you were born!! :) Hope it's ok :)
