Mo's Challenge #131 - Flowers

Yuk, yuk, yuk!!! So much rain...soooooo cold!!! Hard to believe we were all in Tshirts and sunglasses a couple of weeks ago! Good job we have crafting to give us a reason to stay in the warm....so long as you've put your heating back on that is!! ;) The girls are back at school...and I'm back to the gym!! Yay!! The closest to 'normality' I'm going to get I think!! :)
This week for Mo's Challenge we have a hugely popular theme...FLOWERS...designer papers...bought flowers...punched...crochet...knitted...pressed....Mo image with flowers on!!
I've used the gorgeous 'Kisses' image...coloured with Prisma and Polychromo pencils on Kraft...along with floral dp and daisies.

***Mo's brand new book 'Laundry Day'  is now available from Amazon!!    My copy has just arrived and it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!  :) xxx

Mo's Challenge #130

Good morning!
It's Thursday again and therefore Mo challenge day! This week the theme is 'I see Spots'...and with so many dotty papers...punches and 3D pearls and pearl pens...the world's your oyster! I made a birthday card for my daughter Emily's 17th birthday...she's a real 'purple' fan, and I just had to use this fitting image as I sent them off to see 'Mirror Mirror' at the cinema the other day which, if you didn't know, is a film based on Snow White. Snow White...apple...image...apple...just my thinking lol
I have once again used my fav combo at the moment...Kraft with Prismacolor and Polychromo pencils...the image is 'Bite' from the wonderfully talented Mo...
Papers - the new Boofle range...and
3D dots made with 'My Paper World' Pearl Pens from Dragonfly Designs  (they stay like pearls and don't 'peak')

Hope you all had a Happy Easter time...and enjoy the rest of the week if you're off school. Just one more term and it'll be Summer Hols!! YIP!!! :)

Mo's Challenge #129

Good morning from a not so sunny Surrey today! I shouldn't complain really...we've had some gorgeous weather recently, and as us lucky ones woke to another morning of glorious sunshine yesterday, I had a number of friends further north who woke to....SNOW!!!!  Totally crazy...yet still I love the  UK
I can't believe we're just a couple of days away from Easter!!! This year seems to be speeding along as fast as last year...and the weeks zoom by too! Here we are at Thursday again and it's Mo Challenge time! :)  An open challenge for you this week...it's an 'Anything Goes' week... BUT...there's a sketch over on the challenge blog which you can use if you wish x

I've used one of the gorgeous little Fairy Princesses...just love her...think it's the bunches!! I've used white cardstock this week but stuck with the Prisma & Polychromo pencils.

Have a fantastic Easter weekend...hope the weather settles and we can all get out to run off those Easter Eggs!! :)  xx

Mo Challenge # 127

It's quite scary to think we are almost at the Easter Holidays...and even more so that in another three months we will all be starting to think of Christmas in the craft world!! Eeeek! Sorrrryyy!! :)
Lets escape to the world that is Mo's for a while...this week for Mo's Challenge we are going all sparkly and want to see glitter and sequins and gems and pearls and ....anything that adds Bling to your creation basically! :)
You can go for as much or as little as you like.....
I have used the adorable baby fairy Kiki from Mo...I never tire of seeing her gorgeous little smiley face. I've coloured her with Prismas and Polychromos  on Kraft...I have fallen in love with them :)
The sun was out here at 6.15 this morning and it has been beautiful.....but where has it gone now???? Own up!!! Who's got it???? ............

Mo Challenge #126

Morning all...from a very foggy part of Surrey...but hopefully it'll clear to another lovely sunny afternoon. We've had some fab weather this week :)
Well...here we are at Thursday again, and that means its...Mo Challenge day again!! YiP!! After we gave you last weeks excuse to go out and buy something new, this week we'd better not push our luck and have the theme of... Buttons & Bows...so I think we must all be pretty safe :)
I have used the fantabulous Spring Fairy 'Puddle' ...and coloured it with a mixture of Prismacolor and Polychromo pencils...on Kraft x
I'm off to sort my craft room...I can't find anything any more!  I had to do a 30min round trip to go and buy silicone glue earlier as it was quicker than rummaging for mine!!! Ooops!!!

I'm entering this into this weeks...

Mo's Challenge #125

Afternoon...and a very sunny one here in the South too!! :) I could get used to this...but it's just as likely to snow the next minute though with the weather we've had recently! This should have gone on much earlier...but I was trying to hide it from the person that the card is for! A bit difficult anyway as she's on the team...but hopefully she's got it IRL now :)
The sunshine always makes the day better...and added to crafting...we have it made!  Well... I'm back with Mo and the team...and have missed them all and my crafting...my little pocket of sanity!! lol
This week at Mo's Challenge we have the fab theme of  TRY SOMETHING NEW....I just couldn't decide on 'which' something new!!!  I haven't...sorry...'hadn't'...bought anything new from the craft world for absolutely months...but then!!!...... Oooops!! It all changed!! :)  Soooo... on my card this week I have used a new technique (for me)  of colouring on Kraft cardstock...with my Prisma pencils and absolutely loved it!!

The thing is...do I NEED to buy more when I have Mr Holtz Distress Ink pens on order?? Do I? Huh? Huh? I think maybe....I do!!!!!! Lol
Anyway....I have also used my new Tim Holtz flower/leaf die...Memory Box heart die...Martha Stewart round the page punches and...flower spacers and brads from Nellie Snellen....oh and...Craftwork Cards Designer Paper...that's new too!! :)
If you can't join in this week due to having nothing new.....you have our full permission to go craft shopping!!! :)

Mo's Challenge # 73

Ok, so what happened to that week??? Oh well...there will be more so never mind. It's Thursday and Mo Challenge day and that's the main thing :)
This weeks challenge has been set by the lovely Pat again, and she's given us the theme of 'All Irish'. No, that doesn't mean you have to make St Patrick's Day cards...they just need to have a main colour of green.
I've made 'my' (well, Kayleigh's actually! ) little George's 1st Birthday card...can't believe it will be a year ago on Friday that at 10lb 110zs, he appeared and changed our lives forever! He's an adorable little guy and such a credit to his Mummy xx
I've used the gorgeous image 'Freddy' from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured him with Copics and Prisma pencils. I never thought I'd hear myself saying this BUT...how bloomin' hard is it to do 'wiggly' lines on a sewing machine???!!!!!!! *.* No easier than straight lol
U2 are playing in the background, how appropriate!! Have a lovely day all xx

Wood You Be Mine?

Morning!
Another yukky (techy term!) day here...it's so dark I have the lights on!!! *.*
As it's Thursday...it's Mo's day!! Yip!! Our challenge this week was set by Dawn, and she chose...wood!!! Now...it's far easier than you think! Dawn says..."Wood can be interpreted any way you like...A tree..the word Wood or Would...a faux wood paper, wood veneer...any of Mo's images that have a "wood" image..a wooden picture frame..Wood you be mine...Mo's snowman image has wooden arms...Pinocchio, hobby horse, wooden train images are just a few of her other creations that I can think of that have wood".
You see...Simples!! ^.^
I've used real wood veneer on mine...that's the main background, and I've also used it to make flowers. Going to the extreme...I've used my new Prismacolor pencils {made of wood!! ;) } too! ^.^ Don't look too closely though...this was my first attempt with them! :)
Exciting News!!
'We' are looking for a guest designer for March!!! Yay!
