Anything Goes at Mo's!

I've had such a hectic week, and am now rushing this to get off to school! Eeek ... So apologies for it being short x

This week at Mo's Challenge - Anything Goes!! I picked an image that I've not used before. I've made a card for my daughter to send out to thank someone for sending her a baby gift for George this week x

La Pashe Father's Day Hop!

Today is Father's Day here in the UK, so I'll start by saying ...' Happy Father's Day' to My Dear Dad...all other Dad 's... those who take on the role of ... and of course thoughts to those who sadly no longer have theirs x

It's also the 20th of the month, which means ..... it's La Pashe Blog hop day!! This month the theme is 'Father's Day' !!

I have to confess that with having had a VERY hectic last few days with poorly parents and a swarm of bees!! I'm a very tired bunny and so in need of my bed! It's now 2am and I've fallen asleep twice whilst typing this!!! lol So apologies as it's a quick post...and once again I'm relying on Mr Blogger!

Emboss it for Mo!

Morning!! Where oh where is this week going, at such high speed??? I can't believe it's Thursday again already... and the end of the week too, as we have an Inset day tomorrow! I 'should' be standing out by the school swimming pool when this goes live...so hopefully Mr Blogger will kindly post this for me on time :)

This week over at Mo's, Sheila (our fabby DT host for the month) would like us to make something with 'embossing' on it.

What a great excuse to dig out my neglected Cuttlebug folders and have a play :0) I used a neglected Mo image on it too!!! This is one of Mo's earlier images...and in fact, one of the first I ever bought as she has a Daisy look about her! :)

Well...I must away to the fairies, so I'll say Good - Night! ~.~

I was a very lucky girl to have won a complete set of 148 ProMarker pens in Passion for ProMarker's anniversary challenge recently.

Well...they arrived!! A HUGE box - full of pens... and enough black stands to house them all too!!!

So a huge 'Thank You' to PFP ... and to Letraset too x

Mo's Challenge #35 - Easel Card

Good morning!

It's Thursday...and 'Mo'day again...and this week Sheila has given us the theme of 'Easel cards'...a favourite of mine! ^.^

I decided to make mine with a twist, and made the box to sit it on top of too. I made four matchbox type boxes, the wraps to go round them and sandwiched them in between two pieces of mount board, before making and adding the easel card to the top.

I made this for a dear friend of mine whose birthday was at the weekend.

Summer In Colour

We're back to the days of rain, rain...and more rain, in England again!! Tut!! .....BUT...to brighten up your days, the Fab'n'Funky team would like you to add 'Summer Colours' to your blogs this week! :0)

Just make your card using the sunset picture for inspiration...simples! ^.^

I have made mine using Stampin' Up! Only Orange card stock, SU! Very Vintage wheel, new SU! colour soft suede ink, SU! Only Orange ink, SU! 2 step Bird Punch and the SU! paper distressing tool!

The flower has been made using wings from the bird punch as petals...and 'wheeled over' with the Very Vintage wheel.

Where did half term go?? And where did the sunshine go????????? I'm on a school trip with Years 1 & 2 tomorrow...and yes! It's going to rain all day! Hmmph! Never mind...I'm sure it'll be a good day anyway :0)

A friend needed a card for her MIL's birthday, and wanted it to be cat themed. I took the opportunity to use this gorgeous image from Meljen's Designs...which 'was' a Mother's day (US) freebie.

Merging with Mo!

Another beautiful, sunny day in Surrey! Washing is done and out on the line...but knowing what it's like here, I'm ready to dash and grab it back in any moment! lol

This month at Digital Pencil Too challenges, my team buddy Sheila is in charge, and this week she'd like us to merge our 'Mo' images!

Now, don't panic!!! This doesn't mean that you all have to get all PC literate and take lessons on software programmes...No...it actually means that you just need to use more than one of Mo's images on your creation. Please make sure it is two (or more) of Mo's though x

Morning all! What a change in the weather! Yesterday I was seriously thinking of putting the heating on, and today...the back door and all the windows are open!!! Madness!!!

Well today is Fab'n'Funky challenge day, and this week we'd like you to use 'paper piecing' on your creations.

The card I have made for this weeks challenge is a special one. It's a request from my Mo DT & FB buddy Lisa. Lisa's sister Jayme, is terminally ill with lung cancer, and Lisa is asking her card making friends to make a cheerful card to send on to her. Jayme is a frog collector, so this fab image from Meljen's Designs was just perfect x
