We have today, launched the new Tiny Funky Fairy challenge!!! WoooHoooo!! It's a BRAND NEW challenge blog just for the younger crafters out there to show their wonderful work. Anyone 17 years and under can join in, and there will be a fortnightly prize of a Funky Fairy stamp or download!

Introducing .... Rolo!!!

Nope...nothing to do with craft...but I just had to show off my...ok...our new baby! :0)
She is 11 weeks old...and just totally gorgeous...well, I think so anyway! ^.^

Week 26 Funky Fairy Challenge...

Our lovely Jozza has set this weeks challenge for Funky Fairy's... ''I would like you to use paper piecing somewhere on your project please :o)''

There seems to be different interpretations of paper piecing...so have a go...it could win you a free Funky Fairy download!

I loved making this card...it was just one of those times when things fell into place...and that doesn't happen all that often!! ^.^
The background has been stamped with another image from the 'Doodle That' set from Stampin' Up!
The flowers and leaves have been hand stitched and placed on an oval, embossed with the swirls Cuttlebug folder.

Can you tell I'm loving my new Big Shot?? ^.^

Pale green cardstock, with patterned paper from Raspberry Road.
The pink flower in the centre has been made with circles and shapes from punches...

Orchid Opulence...

This is a card I made for my ex MIL last week :0)The background image is from the 'Doodle That' set from Stampin' Up! and stamped in Orchid Opulence. The tags have been embossed using a Cuttlebug folder...also the Happy Birthday. This has then been cut out using a 1 3/8" SU! punch and mounted on a punched out scallop , also SU! ..then finished with a piece of Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon...errr...that'll be Stampin' Up! too ^.^

Funky Fairy Challenge ... Week 25

This week the challenge over at Funky Fairys is set by Han...
The challenge this week is to use something edible on your project this can be a stamp, sticker, paper with images of food/ drinks etc...

I decided to do a scrapbook page this week, as I promised my 'scrapping' friend Lesley...and myself...that 2008 was to be a year for scrapping!!!
So far...this is my 2nd LO! *.* Not doing too well am I? ...but the year is young...still another 6 months to go!! ^.^

The background paper is a Funky Fairy freebie...as is the photo backing.

The fabby pink flowers have been made using templates from our wonderful Dan, who has started a Template Saturday freebie on his blog...this week it's flowers...and they are fab!!!

Funky Fairy Challenge ... Week 24...

A new week, a new Monday...a new challenge!!!
This weeks challenge has been set by ME!!! I hope you like it ^.^

So...this week we will Tri, Tri and Tri again!!
No...my spelling isn't that bad!!! ^.^ This weeks challenge is dominated by 'threes'...TRIple, TRIangles, TRIcolour... TRIanything you like :0)

Here is my 'Tri' :0)...
A triple folded card base...three colours of white, green and girly pink, three beautiful butterflies with sparkly wings , each with three pink dots on their bodies...sitting on three scalloped flowers...with the three words 'Thinking Of You' to finish it off.







I dedicate my card this week to the memory of a special little girl...Briony x
Briony is Meayla's little princess. Born their 3rd child...in the 3rd month and who was diagnosed, this very week, 3 years ago with neuroblastoma. Sadly, she lost her valiant fight last year at the age of 3 years, 3 months and 3 days!

Week 23... Funky Fairy Challenge...
