Mo's Challenge #125

Afternoon...and a very sunny one here in the South too!! :) I could get used to this...but it's just as likely to snow the next minute though with the weather we've had recently! This should have gone on much earlier...but I was trying to hide it from the person that the card is for! A bit difficult anyway as she's on the team...but hopefully she's got it IRL now :)
The sunshine always makes the day better...and added to crafting...we have it made!  Well... I'm back with Mo and the team...and have missed them all and my crafting...my little pocket of sanity!! lol
This week at Mo's Challenge we have the fab theme of  TRY SOMETHING NEW....I just couldn't decide on 'which' something new!!!  I haven't...sorry...'hadn't'...bought anything new from the craft world for absolutely months...but then!!!...... Oooops!! It all changed!! :)  Soooo... on my card this week I have used a new technique (for me)  of colouring on Kraft cardstock...with my Prisma pencils and absolutely loved it!!

The thing is...do I NEED to buy more when I have Mr Holtz Distress Ink pens on order?? Do I? Huh? Huh? I think maybe....I do!!!!!! Lol
Anyway....I have also used my new Tim Holtz flower/leaf die...Memory Box heart die...Martha Stewart round the page punches and...flower spacers and brads from Nellie Snellen....oh and...Craftwork Cards Designer Paper...that's new too!! :)
If you can't join in this week due to having nothing new.....you have our full permission to go craft shopping!!! :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! A new kraft colorer convert! Yay! You did a great job Lydia, can't wait to see some more kraft projects from you!
And hey, when you get your distress ink pens in , I really want to know how they work and what you think of them so keep me posted, GF, OK?

Hi Lydia! I see Dorcas is already calling you a kraft convert. LOL It really is a fun technique. Challenges you in a whole different way from marker coloring, or at least it does me. :-) So many beautiful embellishments on your card too. I look forward to getting to know you better as my new team mate. Hugs!

Oh Lydia...you crack me up, girl!! Reading your blog post just tickled me! hehe! Shall I tell my hubby that it's all YOUR fault that my credit card balance is increasing weekly?! LOL!! Love your card, hunny bun! Coloring on kraft paper gives me fits! I swear, it take me forever...and I just can't seem to get it right! You, on the other hand, totally ROCKED this "pencils on kraft" thing! I've missed you bunches...and am so very tickled that you're back!! Hugs. Pat Frank
