Mo's Babies...

Well, we've gone from boiling hot...to just perfect...to cool... to typical British rain, all in the space of 4 days! And of course the weather has changed because half term is just around the corner!! tut!
Never mind, it's a break from that bossy old clock! Yay :)
This week over at Mo's DP2 challenge, the theme is Celebrate Babies! Now, to a lot of us, and especially Mo, 'ALL' of her images are 'our' babies...but for this week Denise (our host for May) would like us to use the 'little people' variety! :) It doesn't have to be a new baby card...just anything that depicts 'baby love'. Denise said ..Show us babies, or baby animals and add ribbon and/or bows.
I have used one of my all time favs 'Sumpin's Wrong'
I'm entering this into the Spoon Full of Sugar - Celebration challenge

A Fab'n'Funky Sketch...

Good morning, from a much cooler Surrey! As much as I like the sunshine, the heat we've had has been just a bit tooooo warm! I know, I know, typical Brit...too hot...too cold! No pleasing some of us! :)
Well, this week at Fab'n'Funky, we are being sponsored by the fabulous Dustin Pike...and we have a sketch for you to follow too.
The DT have all used Dustin's images this week...so if you get a chance, nip across and see what the others have done x

I'm entering this into the Passion for Promarkers - Anything Goes challenge this week.

What's love got to do with it???

Well heaps, because this weeks challenge at Mo's is full of it!! :)
Denise chose our theme, and just wants us to show 'love' of some sort on our cards. This can be to anyone or anything...pets, people, toys, anything you like, with any image, (so long as it's Mo's) any embellishments and any layout. Simples!! ^.^

La Pashe Easel hop - and prize!!

I can't believe that another month has flown by and that it's La Pashe blog hop time once again!! We do hops on the 20th of the month and they are kind of like a challenge, so if you'd like to join us we'd love to come and see what you've made.
Now this time our theme is 'Easel cards' ...don't you just love them? I have made a birthday card for a friend of mine's hubby, who is a huge jigsaw puzzle fan! I don't mean that he sits all day doing them...I mean he MAKES and restores them! So if you have a special puzzle with a piece missing...he's your man! :)
Now we also have some fab news!! If you leave a comment on each of our blogs, La Pashe will pick one lucky winner to receive a prize (one of the Flippin Stamps of their choice) How good's that? ^.^
AND... Imag-e-nation have the Flippin' sets at a fabulous HALF PRICE!!
Now...if you started here you need to hop back to Karen...and if you came from there then hop off to Toni ...and have fun x

Make it Yourself!!

Hello out there! :)
Phew! What a manic couple of days...and still running! I've got 4 minutes before I need to dash and collect Daisy from school for the doctors. So... without further ado here is my DT card for this weeks Fab'n'Funky challenge.
The theme this week is 'Make it Yourself'...with reference to the embellishments :)
I've made the flower from the 2 smallest sizes of the Blossom nesties. Must do them more often!! :)
I'm also entering this into
Papertake Weekly - Say it with flowers
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Cute and Girly
Flutter By Wednesday - Use flowers (as well as something with wings)
Cute Card Thursday - Someone Special
Dare you to Digi Stamp - Anything goes

Take care all and have a fab day...gotta dash!! xx

1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish...

...well...actually it was just bones!! :)
I whizzed this up super quick today as it's needed (delivered to recipient) for tomorrow! *.*
The image is from Mo's, and is just perfect for the fishing theme that I needed.
I'm putting this into the challenge at Cards for Men this week, their theme is 'outdoors'.

Flowers...and coffee!! :)

Morning! :)
Why is it the sun just doesn't have the ability to stay out these days?? It makes a good start and then disappears! Oh well...staying in to craft sounds like a good plan...I'm having (said quietly) a 'me' day today!! Yay! shhhhh ^.^
If you're lucky enough to get some 'you' time, how about joining us for Mo's challenge this week? Me thinks it's gonna be a popular one this week as the theme is...Flowers!
Now, it's not like me as you know I like my flowers...but on the occasion when I could have gone mad and plastered them everywhere...I didn't!!!!
I have used Mo's fabby new image 'Coffee and Laptop' ...Stampin' UP! - Tea Party papers (can you see another theme going on here? lol) and made up a gift box filled with Latte sachets...and Ferrero Rocher choccies! I just loooove this image!!
I've cut out a few of the flowers from the papers and layered them.

Close your eyes Mrs Stevens!!!

Good morning all...except Linda, as you shouldn't be peeking!!! ;0)
This week's Fab'n'Funky challenge is 'Metal Mania'...so we'd like to see metal of some description on your creations.
Now the reason for my card is that my dear friend Linda went and put metal on her finger!!!!!!!!! And out of the blue too! (to her as well as me! lol) !!!
Off she and Douglas went for a (return) holiday in Las Vagas, and the next thing they're married!!! So...many congratulations Linda and Douglas...I wish you many years of love and happiness x x x x x
I have used a hair grip with beads, and metal brads with their initials on as my metal.
I have also used this weeks sketch from Sketch and Stash, who wanted the added extra of using new/neglected stash! Simples...I have heaps of that!! lol
I have used DCWV papers and metal alphabet brads which have been residing in my cupboards since the world began!!! ^.^

This design is absolutely perfect for the men in your life...be it because they are a whizz in the DIY department...or if you're just wishing!! :0)

Morning all...and what an appropriate theme we have at Mo's this week! I think that any minute now the sky is going to leak!!!!

The challenge this week is Rain ... see what you can come up with...if you need a bit of inspiration, nip over and see what the other DT girls have come up with.
I have used acetate and Diamond Glaze to get the effect of rain on a window in my card.
