I just adore the Tattered Lace range of dies...perfect for the delicate and elegant look on this gift. Handcrafted (by me)  bead pins...rolled roses and a ruffled ribbon finish it off nicely x

Happy New Year... to one and all x I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your New Year celebrations.
As we settle into our first days (for most of us) of 'normality' in 2014...I'm sure a coffee break would be most welcoming!  If you feel like a 'wander' with your mug and biccy (carrot stick if you've seen quite enough biscuits for a while!) ...I would like to point you in the direction of our new venture! A Snowman set...

THAT time is fast approaching and if you're anything like me.....you're not ready!!!! :O  I don't know about you, but for me 365 days just isn't enough notice for Christmas!!! Eeeek!!!
BUT...Fab news!!!! Help is at hand!! The wonderful people in La Pashe land have jumped to our aid with the Christmas Box CD. There are heaps of images...digi's...toppers...gift tags...embellishments...sentiments and of course - decoupage on there, just ready for you to print and turn into something special for Christmas!
I've made a card/gift card holder...a candle and a little candy cane holder, which could be used as either a tree decoration or a table place name. All of these can be made quite easily with the images from the CD.

Coffee Time ...

Yuk, yuk, yuk....what a miserable day here in the South of England!! But I suppose it is Autumn... and I know our friends out in Australia would dearly love this amount of rain right now x
Daisy had a 'duvet day' today as her school had an inset day... which was good with me as I had a quick tidy on my desk...and then....untidied it all over again!! :)
Today's card sets the scene of a little coffee house :)  Coffee?? Me?? Nah!!! Lol
Using a gorgeous Lily of the Valley image...Tim Holtz 'Wall' embossing folder...Marianne Lamp post die...La La Land Fence die...tiny blossoms from WOC...and a Spellbinder window......here it is x

A Christmas Cracker!!

Jak kindly sent the DT some of the new Cracker cards from La Pashe last week, and yesterday I got around to playing :)
Now...you know me...I'm a bit of an 'Out of the Box' kinda girl and they just shouted for me to 3D them!!
I've cut strips of red card to hold the cracker panels together...and made a 'box base' which I attached to the inside to act as a shelf so it can hold a treat.  

I've used four of the 'stackers' from the Christmas Box CD...layered them up and used one on each side.

I've cut one of the window panes out of this one so it looks as if he's peeking inside the cracker...

 ...and used stackers from the CD on each side....

 Hope you like it...and have a go yourselves. They'll make great gift boxes for Christmas! xx

Oh Yeah!!!! MSMS is back!!!

The everso fabby Marcea is back with her Saturday... 'Music Saves My Soul'! Yipppeeee!!!! :)
I don't need an excuse to play music...it's pretty much a 24/7 thing with me...but this is such a good excuse to share it with you! x
Biggest problem I have is choosing what to share!! Lol

Well...this week I'm going with Tich...she was a support act for Olly Murs when Emily and I went to see him back in March this year. She is tiny, but comes with a wonderful and HUGE voice...and never sung a duff note in her hour on stage!!

Mess and elegance with Heartfelt Creations

This is the third and final project that I submitted to the Heartfelt Creations DT call. I had a wonderful time playing in the world of girly grunge :)

50 Golden Years!

Me again!!! ...getting back to the old days again with more frequent posts!!! :)
  I was going to share my third Heartfelt Creations DT project with you today, but as it was Rob's parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, I thought I'd share a bit of gold with you instead :)
Always a huge milestone in my eyes...and a very special occasion. We went down to see them yesterday and were thoroughly spoilt as 'we' were treated out for dinner and then went back to find Marion had made the most ENORMOUS...squishy...and very yummy raspberry pavlova!! I should have been a bit quicker with my camera than we all were with forks and spoons...as very rapidly there wasn't much left to photograph!!! O.o
I made them a card with added carnations, which is what they had as buttonholes and bouquets...and a 3 tiered decorated cake in a display box...from Scary Mary! Just love her kits x
Somehow I'd forgotten to take a proper photo of it...just a 'rough' one :/  I'll have to get Rob to take one when he goes down next weekend.

A few weeks ago I saw a post on Heartfelt Creations FB page with a shout for a new DT.  I thought about it...thought again...and then thought ...unless I entered I wouldn't stand a chance! So off to my craft room I went!
Wellllllll......yesterday was THE day when they released the names of the semi finalists....and I'm on the list!! Yayyyy!!! :) 

Now, I'm not usually one to shout about things...what will be will be...BUT...there is a voting system in place...and I would like  'need' your votes!!! :) 

One of my old (back in time not age! LOL) team mates from another DT  - Enfys - has also made it through  along with Liz - also from the UK...and as you need to pick 5 semifinalists to complete your vote, I'm sure they would appreciate an extra tick in the box :)

Flutterbies and Flowers...

Morning all :)
Just going through picture files and realise there is so much I haven't blogged!! Bad me seems to Facebook things these days and neglect my blog...tut tut !!
Sooooo....here is a card I made mainly with the Time Flies collection from Craftwork Cards and an image from Saturated Canary.
I have also used Grand Decorative Circles from Spellbinders...Stampin' Up! Rich Razzleberry ink...Fran-tage embossing enamel (LOVE that stuff!!) ...a bow made from lace.. the image coloured with Prisma pencils...all put together and made with love xx

I have days where pure elegance is in my head...and others complete yummy mess!! Lol
Today is a elegant day :)
This is a card I made using the gorgeous Heartfelt Creations Decorative Blossom corners and hearts from their Timeless Amour set of dies.
I've made a centre flower from the Delicate Aster set and placed it within the heart 'cage' on a heart base made from rainbow mirri card...

I hand made a gift box for it to go in and placed a matching heart cage on the top x

I made this 'rocker' card with the gorgeously scrummy Gingerbread house design...and a mini tag rocker with the stackers.

Heartfelt Flowers....

Hi all...from a nice sunny and 'warmish' South of England :)
This is a card I made using the Heartfelt dies and stamps. I absolutely love making something from scrap...and these flowers started life as a scrap piece of half inked vellum.
The Sun Kissed Fleur flowers were stamped... embossed in white...cut with the matching dies...shaped and then edged with gold embossing powder.
I've used Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals one as the center layers with a sentiment from Inkylicious.
