The Lady In The Cape...

This is a card I have made for a friend starting a new job soon...not your average 'Good Luck' looking card but it's very 'her'

I've made this using an image from Tanda Stamps http://www.tandastamps.co.uk/ and filled in with Glaze pens, Gelly roll glitter pen and Marvy le Plumes. I have then cut it out and mounted it on black card dusted with a green lustre...eyeshadow!!!

The very best of luck in your new job Linda x x x

Secret Garden

Today I made a birthday card for a dear friend of mine...my StepMother In Law!

It was made using a gorgeous stamp which I bought from http://mytatteredangels.com/
and stamped onto patterned cardstock... layered onto some K&Co paper then inked at the edges with Lime Pastel and Olive Pastel fluid chalk catseye inkpads.

One Down...

...And a few more to go!!!

It was never my intention of making a Christmas card today, but you know what it's like...you see something and off you go at a totally different tangent! Or is that just me? !!! :o)

Anyway...whilst looking for a fairy for the 18th birthday card, I found the Angel (which came from a QVC kit last year) and had a thought...
I stamped and embossed her onto a piece of stampbord and inked over the top... then layered her onto mirror and foil card.

Happy Birthday to You...

I have two friends with birthdays coming up, one of which is an 18th.

The first one is another little 'House Mouse' cutey...this time sailing away on his leaking balloon. He has been stamped onto a lemon background and watercoloured using Marvy le Plume pens...I have then just waved a watered brush over the top to soften it a bit.

Some glittered outline has been added using a Sakura pen and Happy Birthday stamped along the bottom.

The other is for a soon to be 18 year old fairy fan.

The image has been stamped onto layers of white and silver card with a Brilliance ink pad. I made a beaded charm to dangle from a brad with some fibres and a ribbon tied at the side to finish it.

Black & White

'At last' some of you on the swap list may shout :o)

The mouse one is simply layers of black and white card and inked round the edges.

The other has been made using a background of black alcohol ink on a chipboard surface and then an image stamped on top of stampbord and edged with black embossing powder. A piece of ribbon and silver Krylon edges finish it off.

3 More for Christmas

I have finished three more 'Mousey' Christmas pages ...Yippee!!!

I was really starting to worry if I would ever think of anything to make again (0_0)

These were made very similarly to the 'Merry Christ'mouse' page

For A Friend x

This was made for a dear friend who is sadly in hospital at the moment :o(

Made from mountboard and coloured using Cat's Eye Chalk pads. I stamped the image with Stazon and then filled in the bear with Sepia glaze, added a border of silver Krylon and then finished with some fibres and a ribbon bow.

Get well soon xx

Wedding Box

This is something I made as a wedding gift for my FIL and his Fiance on their wedding day earlier this year.

I used mountboard for the main box pieces, covered them with wedding papers from Creative Imaginations and inked the edges with a 'Warm Red' chalk ink pad.

I lined up all the pieces and punched the holes with my Crop-a-dile ...then (painstakingly) threaded red and cream coloured ribbon alternately through them all. Decorated the outside with embellishments and charms and finally put the Cherished Teddy ornament inside...secured well with silicone glue.

Merry Christ'mouse' Fat Page

It really doesn't seem very long ago that the Christmas crafting goodies were packed away...and now they're back out!
Anyway...I thought I'd better get started or it'll be Christmas Eve before I've had a chance to wave a glue stick :o)

This is a Christmas fat page that I have made.

I have used alcohol inks on four pieces of glass and then stamped the mouse image on top. Separated them slightly to make it look as if he's looking out of a window and attached them to a piece of mount board...then tinted round the edge with Adirondack ink pads. Stuck this on a matching 4'' x 4'' square and gone round the edge with a gold Krylon pen. Merry Christmas was written with a 'write and rub' pen and covered with ultra fine red glitter.

Hope you like it x
