Spring is here...

...but I think that's a matter of opinion!! :) It's jolly cold and miserable here today...coats and gloves required!!!
Anyway, a good excuse to join in with the Fab'n'Funky team this week to make lovely Spring themed cards to brighten the place up :) I've used the gorgeous butterfly stamp set and punch from Stampin' Up! and dotted all the dots with liquid pearls...

He's Here!!

Baby George has entered the building!! Kayleigh had a really awful time of it bless her, but we battled through 2 nights and a day with tears, laughter, the very occasional 'woman on a mission' type mouth' lol and in the few moments of pain free time, even had time for a word search or two!!
'Little' George eventually decided to make an appearence Thursday morning weighing in at .......10lb and 11ozs!!!!!!!!!!!
I brought home a very 'battered' Kayleigh and the most adorable little Grandson Friday afternoon. I have had a wonderful time tonight having cuddles and snuggles while 'Mummy' catches up with some much needed sleep and recovery time. Wish me luck as we head off up the stairs...and I'll let you know tomorrow if it was a wise move to park him in my room rather than the next one along the landing!!! lol

And Another...

...sunny day!! Yay!! I'm sure it's far warmer outside than in...but that breeze is just a bit too chilly to move paper and pencils out there just yet! So...indoors it is...and I've had another play with the Rubber Stamp Tapestry sets. This card has been stamped with the Penelope's Fancy set, and I've used Stampin' Up! Close to Cocoa, Old Olive and Rose Red inks. The background has been simply shaded using SU! chalks.

Mo's Challenge #21

Hello and welcome to challenge # 21 at Mo's Digital Pencil!
Here we are in March and I'm so hoping that spring is on it's way! This is the 4th sunny day in a row here...but it's still very chilly!!
Cathy is our new hostess at Mo's for the month of March, and she has some fab challenges for you all!
This week is a colour combo, and she has asked us to use Blue, Brown and one neutral (white or cream) ...and of course a Mo image to be in with a chance of winning!
The DT have some wonderful creations to inspire you...and all the details are on the challenge blog too. Have fun! :)

Fab'n'Funky - Shaped

Morning :)
It's Fab'n'Funky challenge time again...and this week we want to see 'Shaped' cards!
Circles, ovals, houses, word books...whatever you like but no squares or rectangles...
I've used a scalloped Carousel Note from Stampin' Up! and the digi image is from Soft Pencil ...who are sponsoring us again this fact they have agreed to sponsor us every month!! Yay! Thanks SP :)

Stamp and Punch combo offer!

Just popped by to let you know of the new Stampin' Up! promo we have for March!
"during the month of March, get 20 percent off select punches when you purchase the coordinating stamp set. Plus, get a sneak peek at the brand-new Full Heart
punch--not available again until the release of the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue!"
I have used the new Whisper White Ink pad and French Filigree background stamp on Basic Black cardstock for this card and I have to say...I'm LOVING the WW ink pad!! At last we have a decent white ink pad in the crafting world!! :)
It's just a plain rectangular shape card, but I've added a brad to the inside back to make it's just a bit difficult to see that being black. The 'for you' sentiment that I used on this card isn't in the 'oval all' set but the Oval punches are very versatile. Click the picture for details...and just give me a shout if I can help x
